As the New Year dawns upon me, I have decided to start using this new form of expression called Blogs. Till date I kept on wondering why people blog all the time but unless you do not jump in the "Blogging Pool" you will not undersatnd the essence of Blogging.
So without any further delay let me start expressing my thoughts. Wishing all who will read this blog "A Very Happy New Year". Sounds like the oldest clitche but I can not refrain from saying this today.
2009 flew faster than I could ever imagine. In this so called busy life 1 year is equivalent to just another year for the records. 2009 gifted me a daunting task of staying away from home for the first time for a period of 5 months. I landed in Pune and then the next 5 months was a roller coaster ride. Can not forget the period between 01/13/2009 to 06/12/2009. I witnessed work pressure like never before, home sickness and a failed relationship (The one I treasured more than my life). It was not only me but I could see people around me going through the same routine as well. Then came the big moment of shifting base from Bandra to Dombivli. I moved in my new house with a mixed baggage of feelings. I bought everything that I could afford (LED TV, PS3 and Music system to name a few). But one thing was priceless (Mastercard style) the joy and pride in my parents eyes.
Days passed and office as usual was a priority and will be till I gauge what is important i.e. "YOur salary has been credited" message or "Eat your food" quote from mom. I know the priority but due to selfish reasons I have turned a deaf ear to that selfless concern.
The world also changed a lot in 2009. We all live amidst the fear of terror attacks, India still trying to come to terms with polarized growth (Rich getting Richer and the Poor man being robbed of his savings every second of the hour), Obama is the well advertised symbol of Change (Wonder if he can deliver to his promises) and finally World staring the hazards of "Global Warming"
That's too much of an expression, I guess. Bye. Take Care and God Bless You.
